我先解釋一下預備知識
在star trek : enterprise這部影集中的某一集，
有一次人類剛發明了一種短程的瞬間移動的方法，
這種新技術的原理是將物品(任何東西，包括人類)分解成原子，
然後再把這物品在目的地重新組合回來。

我的問題在這裡：
有一位翻譯官在經歷一次這樣的轉移後，一直懷疑自己身上的原子並沒有全部轉移成功，
整天疑神疑鬼，有一次他又向一位同事抱怨後，這位同事答以
“All the king's horses and all the king's men”

*#@%!$????
國王的人馬，到底說什麼，實在搞不懂是什麼意思，沒頭沒尾的。


結果有一天我讀到我兒子的童謠，才豁然開朗。
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
這位Humpty Dumpty 是個擬人化的蛋，跌下來摔破了，
所以就算All the king's horses and all the king's men通通都來了，
也沒有辦法把蛋復原。

也就是再也沒有辦法復原了。
